Deputy State Mufti attends conference in Sydney

Deputy State Mufti Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Japar bin Haji Mat Dain @ Maidin left for Sydney, Australia to attend the International Islamic Conference organised by the Darulfatwa Islamic High Council of Australia.

Accompanying him is Istinbat Senior Officer of the State Mufti’s Office Haji Raimi bin Tengah.

The conference themed ‘The Role of Education in enabling Muslim families to care for their children and adolescents in their community’ is held to commemorate Maulidur Rasul.

Darulfatwa (Islamic High Council of Australia) is the highest Islamic authority in Australia. It was established to fulfil the needs of the growing Muslim community in Australia.

Darulfatwa aims to bring Muslims in Australia together to positively build and enhance the role of every member of the Muslim community.
