The local community got to enjoy a night time picnic at Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas during the Big BWN Cookout last Saturday.
The event was held in collaboration with BIBD Connects as part of Brunei December Festival 2016 initiatives by Big BWN Project, a local community development projects brand.
Supported by Progresif Cellular Sdn Bhd as part of its contribution to the growing entrepreneurship and arts and culture scene in Brunei, Big BWN Cookout saw 15 local home-based businesses selling different kinds of local products and dishes. They included Rezeki MCE, 3thirty8.co, Superfish Growers, Desserts by Mrs Khan, urbnkitchen, Bananastory, Tampd koffee x Bad Catch, Favouritestick Brunei, Seven Sporks, Muris, Barokah Toiyibah Enterprise, Sri Saujana Enterprise, My Nasi Lemak Stall, Munchplate, InkedbyHope, Cheap Luck and Mixbros. Six of the businesses involved are from the Darussalam Enterprise Micro Business Bootcamp programme.
The cookout allowed the local community to support local small businesses who showcased their products and skills during the event.
