National Welfare Body Fund gets nearly BND14,000 boost

A total of BND13,841 has been collected for the Brunei National Welfare Body Fund during a charity activity to mark Civil Service Day 2019, organised by the Civil Service Institute (IPA), Public Service Commission (SPA) and Youth and Sports Department earlier in November.

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin received the funds from Deputy Permanent Secretary (Economy and Finance) at the Prime Minister’s Office Pengiran Hajah Siti Nirmala binti Pengiran Mohammad during a ceremony at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports yesterday.

The funds were raised from the purchase of T-shirts for the charity activity, and contributions made by public servants as well as members of the public.

The charity activity to mark Civil Service Day entered its fourth year this year, after it was introduced in 2016.
