Brunei’s Red Crescent Society launches Strategy 2020

The Brunei Darussalam Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) officially launched its Strategy 2020 at the studio of the Health Promotion Centre (HPC), Commonwealth Drive yesterday.

President of the BDRCS Haji Mohd Suhaimi bin Haji Ibrahim, who was the guest of honour led the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat.

Haji Mohd Suhaimi, in his remark, hoped to facilitate management and administration of the association through the Strategic Plan 2020 towards increasing the organisational capacity nationally and internationally to ensure that BDRCS will remain relevant and an auxiliary to the Government of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.

He also shared a list of the new BDRCS National Council and National Executive Board 2019-2020 members effective November 1.

He hoped that the newly appointed officers will contribute time and energy voluntarily towards creating a dynamic and resilient association.

The event ended with the presentation of the Letter of Appointment of the National Council and National Executive Board 2019-2020 followed by a talk on ‘Strategy 2020’ by the Secretary General of BDRCS National Council.
