Workshop promotes integration of critical thinking, Bruneian culture

The Brunei-USA Association (BUSA) held a workshop on ‘Integrating Critical Thinking and Bruneian Culture into Your Personal & Professional Lives’ for its members at Kunyit 7 Lodge in Kampong Ayer on Friday.

The workshop was delivered by member of BUSA Adrina binti Haji Mohd Agus Din, an educator for 20 years and currently teaching at Rimba II Secondary School. The workshop was attended by 20 participants from different professional background.

It is an adaptation based on an American English E-teacher global online course taken by Adrina, a programme sponsored by the United States (US) Embassy in Brunei Darussalam.

The workshop tackled daily lives situation through the use of critical thinking with an in-depth interactive discussion for each individual. In addition, it touches on how micro-cultures and different identities shape a person.

The session concluded with a certificate presentation to the participants by Public Affairs Officer at the US Embassy in Brunei Darussalam Dr Daniel Lee.
