Radio Television Brunei (RTB) received a delegation from Delima Satu Primary School, led by teacher Didi Burhan bin Haji Basri yesterday.
The 31 students and four teachers were briefed on RTB’s roles and functions in delivering updated coverage on the country development.
They visited the Pelangi FM and Harmoni FM radio studios and gained a first-hand look inside the radio studio, and were also briefed on the roles of a radio DJ.
The students also visited the News Centre of the News and Current Affairs Section to learn about how a news preparation process is done. They experienced a live broadcast of the Rampai Pagi programme.
This visit was part of the school’s annual activity aimed to give students exposure on RTB’s importance in channeling information and entertainment to the public.
