The Labour Department would like to highlight that according to Chapter 39(1) of the Employment Order 2009, it is the responsibility of all employers to provide salary to their employees. The failure to do so is an offence.
The Labour Department reminds employers to ensure that the employee’s welfare is taken care of. The department will take stern action against employers who mistreat and neglect the welfare of their employees.
