Roadshow raises awareness on filling station safety

Brunei Shell Marketing Sdn Bhd (BSM) yesterday distributed leaflets and highlighted preventive measures with respect to vehicle refuelling, during the simultaneous launching of its ‘Fill Safe, Feel Safe’ roadshow campaign at selected filling stations across the country. The campaign was held with the joint collaboration of the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications, the Ministry of Energy, Manpower and Industry, the District Office, the Fire and Rescue Department, and the Royal Brunei Police Force. It aims to engage the public on safety practices which include turning off car engines and avoiding the use of mobile phones while refuelling, as well as using appropriate containers when buying fuel.
