New intake welcomed at orientation day

The Kemuda Institute welcomed a new batch of students for its October 2019 intake in a two-day orientation on its premises in Bandar Seri at and Menara Cendera Kenangan, Kuala Belait.

The institute offers programmes such as the NCC Level 3 Diploma in Computing, NCC Level 4 Diploma, BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Information Technology, BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Information Technology and BTEC Level 5 High National Diploma in Computing.

On the first day, the programme began with the opening prayer led by Religious Affairs Officer of Kemuda Institute Student Council Mohd Amirul Zaqwan bin Haji Ali Yusof, followed by the singing of the national anthem.

Principal Mohd Khairy Yusrin bin Haji Abdul Salam in his welcoming remarks spoke about preparing the students for the next journey in their study and explained about KEMUDA and its goal.

The orientation also saw a briefing on the institute’s rules and regulations to ensure the new students adapt to their new environment, followed by an ice-breaking session among the students. They were also briefed on the courses and given a tour of the institution.

On the second day, a welcoming remark was delivered by the President of the Student Council along with an introduction of the committees of Student Council. Various games and fun-filled activities were organised to make the students feel at ease with their new college life environment.

The orientation concluded with a gift-presentation ceremony to the students and a closing prayer.
