New committee members take rein of HOGB

The official handing over of letters of appointment to the new committee members of the Harley Davidson Owners Group Brunei (HOGB) Chapter was held during a ceremony at Mangrove Paradise Resort yesterday.

The new Director of HOG Brunei Abdul Malek bin Hamdani said the association not only brought together fans of the high-powered Harley-Davidson brand but also created a sense of kinship among its members.

“Various activities will be carried out in the future, Insya Allah and it is hoped that with the cooperation of the new committee members, all plans and affairs will go smoothly,” he added.

The event saw ex-committee members for 2017-2019 officially handing over their duties to the new committee member for 2019-2021.

It was announced that Dayangku Siti Redzaimi binti Pengiran Haji Ahmad will continue her role as the Ladies of Harley Officer while Abdul Azim bin Abdul Ghani now holds the position of Activity Officer.

Duties for Road Captain have been assigned to Haji Md Shahrol bin Haji Abdul Hamid while Mohd Faizalazmi bin Haji Metussin holds the position of Safety Officer. Shahrulnadim bin Haji Lukman was given the position of editor; Mohammad Hilme bin Abdul Aziz the historian; and Alan Chai Boon Seng membership officer. Other roles include Mohd Nazri bin Haji Abu Bakar webmaster; Md Azmi Ashadi bin Haji Jawawi the photographer; and Sahardday Izhar bin Johan as merchandise officer.

Former Director of HOG Brunei Pengiran Joffren bin Pengiran Omar handed over the appointment letters.

HOG Brunei Chapter held its 13th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Dynasty Restaurant, Gadong recently where association members chose Abdul Malek as the new director; Awangku Redzaidi bin Pengiran Haji Ahmad the deputy director; Pengiran Jefri bin Pengiran Haji Damit secretary; and Mohd Al-Ameen bin Haji Sabli as the treasurer.
