Locals plead innocence to theft charge

The Magistrate’s Court heard three local citizens pleading innocence to a charge of theft yesterday.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Aeny Zullizam’s charge against Budi Setia bin Suli, 37, Muhammad Fakhruddin bin Musli, 23, and Amalina binti Mohd Ariffin, 34, alleged that they stole an underground wire roller belonging to a company from Kampong Katimahar, sometime between 3.50pm and 6.06pm on October 8.

Chief Magistrate Pengiran Masni binti Pengiran Haji Bahar adjourned the case to October 30, for the preparations of a trial.
