Laneige Brunei celebrated the 14th anniversary of its embankment in Brunei Darussalam, with a special ceremony at one of its branches in Jalan Batu Bersurat last Saturday.
Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Brunei Darussalam Yoon Hyun-bong was the guest of honour.
General Manager of Laneige Brunei Patricia Li thanked the cosmetic brand’s customers for their support.
“From the beginning of this business operation until now, we have been carrying out broad efforts both internally and externally, to enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen the stakeholders’ value,” she said.
On its community-based corporate social responsibility (CSR), she said, “Laneige always aims to bring back to the community and work closely with non-governmental organisations (NGOs). Laneige has worked closely with ‘Save the Children’ to promote the sharing of the ‘Waterful’ experiences campaign.
“Via this ‘Waterful’ campaign, Laneige invests the profits made by the yearly sales of the Water Bank Essence to build water tanks not only in Africa, but also in China and Malaysia. These projects are intended to provide safe and clean drinking water for children affected by water shortage.
“Throughout the past 14 years, Laneige Brunei had expanded its vision from the founder to local region to support those areas including women and children education who are in need within ASEAN.”
Laneige Brunei’s CSR campaigns also include a recent collaboration with domestic service provider Sparkly Domestic Divas, in reaching out to local communities and supporting local schools.
