Illegal modifications detected in roadblock

A driver was issued a compound fine for using window plastic film on his vehicle, detected during a roadblock by Belait Police District Headquarters personnel last Tuesday.

The two-hour operation involved 10 police personnel along Jalan Tengah Seria, Lorong 14 Panaga.

A roadblock was also held in the Tutong District led by Officer-in-Charge of the Lamunin Police Station Inspector Muhammad Zulfadli bin Haji Yusof, together with 13 police officers.

The operation in Kampong Lamunin/Layong recorded four compound cases for various offences, including the illegal modification of vehicles.

In a press statement, the Royal Brunei Police Force said that it will continue to hold roadblock operations to boost public awareness on road safety and the importance of adhering to traffic rules and regulations.
