A Fireside Chat on ‘Going Digital in the F&B Industry’ was held at the iCentre in Anggerek Desa yesterday.
The Fireside Chat featured a panel comprising Muna Safiruddin of Geo Eats, Nadiah Yassin of Yasfiani, Shazrinah Shazali of Fuel’d and Haji Zainal bin Haji Safar of Soto Rindu Restaurant & Catering.
During the session, the panellists shared their perspectives and spoke about their experience in Brunei’s food and beverage industry, while also responding to questions from participants.
The event was organised by BenchLab, an organisation which carries the mission to provide accessible teaching and learning opportunities for Brunei and beyond.
Yesterday marked the first of BenchLab’s free-of-charge quarterly Fireside Chat events, which they have created to further enable the sharing of knowledge and experiences between subject matter experts and the public in current areas of economic opportunities.
Since April 2018, BenchLab’s skill-sharing platform has gathered over 2,000 users and hosted over 1,000 hours of workshops.
Speaking about the creation of the quarterly Fireside Chats, General Manager of BenchLab Major Wan Farhan bin Haji Ibrahim in his opening remarks said, “By gathering some of the most talented people in a specific industry, BenchLab looks to encourage learning through experience sharing.”
