A group of 112 students who are undergoing HNTec in Construction Engineering and Design & Draughting at Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) Nakhoda Ragam Campus, visited the Temburong Bridge Construction Project in Jalan Kota Batu.

The visit was organised by the campus’ School of Building Technology Services from October 24-26.

Prior to the visit, a briefing was held at the Public Works Department (JKR) on the details and the sustainability design of the project. The students were enlightened on the practical and construction works, the technology as well as materials used at the site.

The briefing also highlighted the project’s Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) aspects.

Excitement ensued as the visit provided the students a first-hand view of the Temburong bridge.

The campus continuously strives to provide students with such an opportunity and hoped it would broaden and expand the students’ experiences.
