Baby girl murder case adjourned to November 11

A case involving murder charges against a local married couple, which followed a viral message regarding skeletal remains of a baby at a house in Kampong Salambigar, was adjourned by the Magistrate’s Court yesterday to November 11, 2019.

Acting Chief Magistrate Azrimah binti Haji Abdul Rahman, while agreeing to DPP Nurul Fitri binti Kiprawi, ordered to have Kasim bin Omar, 32, undergo a psychological evaluation.

Kasim and his wife, Siti Noraliza binti Haji Abdullah, 29, are alleged to have murdered a five-month and 24-day old girl at the Kampong Salambigar house on May 29, 2018.

The couple is facing the death penalty.
