Workshop provides insights, awareness on achieving optimal human resources

The Public Service Department under the Prime Minister’s Office is conducting a four-day workshop on the Certificate of Manpower Audit and Planning as a continuation of the Administrative Directors’ Forum.

The workshop, organised in collaboration with overseas consultants, is participated by 20 officials comprising directors of administrations from government ministries as well as senior officers from the Public Service Department.

Acting Director-General of Public Service Dr Norfarizal bin Othman officiated the event.

The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by a welcoming speech by the acting director-general.

He highlighted that the workshop is designed to provide specialised training in the field of human resource auditing in each ministry, and to carry out human resource planning in each organisation.

Dr Norfarizal also said that the workshop aims to provide insights and awareness on the importance of achieving optimal human resources, as well as ways to increase knowledge in the process of implementing more effective manpower audits by applying systematic and holistic approaches.

The workshop will also assist in better monitoring and regulating of the requirements of human resources in each government agencies.
