Pre-dawn talk highlights examples set by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), companions

The outstanding example set by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his companions in building human resources formed the subject of yesterday’s pre-dawn talk at the Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque in the capital.

Director of the Centre for the Public and International Relations at University Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) Haji Sammali bin Haji Adam said, “The personalities of the Prophet (pbuh) and his companions influenced the quality of the human resources in terms of honesty, integrity, responsibility and so on. That’s why we need to study their achievements as examples in the forming of successful human resources.”

Among those present were Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud; Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar; and Deputy Minister of Energy, Manpower and Industry Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Matsatejo bin Sokiaw, as well as permanent secretaries and deputy permanent secretaries from the ministries.

This week’s pre-dawn talk was jointly hosted by the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) and the Ministry of Energy, Manpower and Industry (MEMI), with support from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), as part of the Masjidku Makmur, Negaraku Berkat programme to encourage the presence of more congregants for mass Subuh prayer at the Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque.
