Malaysian Chinese detained by police for airport commotion

A Malaysian Chinese man was detained by the personnel of Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) for causing a commotion at the luggage check in counter of Air Asia at the Brunei International Airport yesterday afternoon.

A video clip of the arrest by personnel of RBPF circulated in social media.

According to RBPF, a distress call was made at noon.

Following investigation, RBPF detained a Malaysian Chinese named Peng Du, 40, who is believed to have caused a commotion at the counter because of unsatisfaction of the management of his luggage.

Members of public who witnessed the incident are urged to come forward to provide evidence to the police.
