KUPU SB delegation returns from humanitarian trip in Indonesia

A group of 16 students from the Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) comprising 11 male and five female students arrived home last Thursday after a 10-day humanitarian aid project trip to Banten, Indonesia.

They were led by Director of Core Knowledge Centre of KUPU SB Dr Haji Noralizam bin Haji Aliakbar.

The trip serving to provide aid to tsunami and earthquake victims in Lampung and Banten, Indonesia, was the second visit made by the group under the Khairat Kemanusiaan Project.

The group delivered aid to several religious halls within the two provinces and visited Universitas Raden Intan Lampung, Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten, Sekolah Dasar Islam Assalam Bandar Lampung and Pesantren Anak-Anak Yatim Baitussa’adah Jakarta.

Dr Haji Noralizam also delivered a special lecture in Islamic Economy and Entrepreneurship to 150 students at Universitas Raden Intan Lampung.
