A delegation of 16 students and an officer from the Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) left the country for Bandar Lampung and Banten, Indonesia, to carry out their Projek Khairat Kemanusiaan yesterday.
The project is KUPU SB’s initiative through the Core Knowledge Centre to raise awareness on the students’ responsibilities to the community and country. The delegation is led by Director of the Core Knowledge Centre at KUPU SB Dr Haji Noralizam bin Haji Aliakbar.
Ra’es of KUPU SB Dr Haji Adanan bin Haji Basar, Acting Deputy Ra’es Dr Abang Haji Hadzmin bin Abang Haji Taha, Acting Assistant Ra’es Datin Dr Hajah Noor Hira binti Haji Noor Kaseh, officers and staff from the Core Knowledge Centre at KUPU SB were present at the Brunei International Airport.
The delegation will distribute basic necessities to around 500 recipients in various districts, village and pesantren, and provide Tazkirah on cleanliness and health and Al-Quran reading classes besides joining sports activities and team building as well as community service.
