Malaysian actress and singer Erra Fazira was recently nominated to the top five in the Anugerah Bintang Popular BH (ABPBH)’s Popular Female Artiste category.
The Hantu Kak Limah actress shared that she did not expect to be nominated.
“I was shocked and touched to be nominated in the category. I feel like there are better candidates among the new generation of artistes. I did not expect to be nominated as my popularity is not the same as before. “However, I am grateful to be nominated and this shows that there are fans out there who notice my talent,” she shared during an interview with Berita Harian Online.
Erra Fazira is up against Dalimawati, Mira Filzah, Uqasha Senrose and Hannah Delisha.
Erra or her real name Fazira Wan Chek, 45, won the same category during the ABPBH 1994, 1995, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004.
“When I see veterans being nominated, it gives me hope that even veterans can still win the award,” she said.
