Twelve Brunei delegates yesterday left for Kuala Lumpur to participate in the six-day Intellectual Mahabbah Wa Rahmah ‘UNISSA-KL-Terengganu’.
UNISSA Centre for Promotion of Knowledge and Language Director Dr Haji Hambali bin Haji Jalil is leading the delegation, made up of three Islamic Studies Department officials as well as students from Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) and Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB).
Present to bid them farewell was Deputy Rector of UNISSA Dr Haji Mohammed Hussain bin Pehin Penyurat Haji Ahmad.
The programme is part of initiatives by UNISSA to strengthen participants’ knowledge and social service to the community, especially in helping the needy and orphans. This programme aligns with UNISSA’s mission and vision in producing capable students.
The delegation will visit Kolej Universiti Islam Selangor (KUIS), Universiti Islam Sultan Zainal Abidin (UNISZA), Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), Yayasan Chow Kit, Kuala Lumpur and Asrama Anak-Anak Yatim Fakir Miskin, Terengganu.
