Campaign provides relief during haze

NBT Brunei, the main distributor of Toyota cars in Brunei Darussalam, took the lead in responding to the country’s haze situation by assisting in relieving the impact of the haze through its ‘NBT Cares Campaign’.

The public is welcome to get free face masks and bottled water at any NBT Lexus and Toyota showrooms and its service centres.

The public is also advised to use the mask and to keep hydrated during the hazy period.

The campaign, part of the organisation’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) effort, aimed to assist the public in view of the hazy conditions.

NBT Managing Director Haji Ahmad Omar bin Haji Husin was on hand to witness the campaign at the NBT Gadong Toyota showroom.

NBT Senior General Manager (Sales and Marketing) Leong Cheng Soon, NBT General Manager (After-Sales) Lauro M De Guzman, NBT Senior Customer Relations Manager Sharifah Marianah binti Malai Haji Othman and staff members were also present.

Haji Ahmad Omar said, “‘NBT Cares’ is at the core of our company’s CSR priorities and as the haze hazard has spread to our shores, NBT believes that we must assist and create awareness in the community on the importance of wearing face masks as well as staying hydrated as a health precaution. We don’t just sell cars, we care.”
