Brunei academics join Arabic Language seminar

Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) through the Arabic Language Faculty in collaboration with Language and Communications Faculty of Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) Malaysia, Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) ArRaniry, Indonesia; Indonesia Association of Teachers; and Malaysia’s Arabic Language Association held a Southeast Asia Arabic Language seminar recently.

The conference held at the UniSZA carried the theme ‘Arabic Language Books in Southeast Asia.’

Thirty-five presenters including 22 from UNISSA participated in the event.

The conference aimed to introduce an Arabic language teaching book in Southeast Asian countries.

The conference also aimed to present solutions to resolving issues related to Arabic language teaching as well as to work in improving Arabic language proficiency at various levels of study.

The conference was attended by academics from Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
