‘BLNGolden Hearts’ reaches out to KACA, Merangking Primary School children

Brunei LNG Sdn Bhd organised a clean-up campaign at the Centre for Children with Special Needs (KACA Centre) in Tutong as part of its BLNGolden Hearts initiative yesterday.

The clean-up campaign, volunteered by staff from Transformation and Continuous Improvement Department, Legal Department and Corporate Compliance Department, was led by Legal Manager Haji Mohd Husini bin Haji Bakar.

It saw new gratings for drains were installed at the play area outside the centre. Renovation of the centre’s main amenities was funded by donations collected from Brunei LNG staff.

The volunteers also engaged with the children during fun-filled activities such as storytelling and colouring sessions.

The event ended with a donation handover from Haji Mohd Husini to KACA Managing Director Haji Abdul Alim bin Haji Othman.

Earlier this month, staff from the Marketing and Shipping Department of Brunei LNG organised a tour around Bandar Seri Begawan for Year 3 to Year 6 students from Merangking Primary School.

The tour, led by Brunei LNG General Manager in Marketing and Shipping Mohd Suwarso bin Mudjono, featured a walk from Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas to Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, a visit to Royal Regalia Museum and an edutainment session at Fun Blocks.

The pupils also received school supplies.
