Artworks strengthen Brunei, Malaysia ties further

The High Commission of Brunei Darussalam in Malaysia, in collaboration with Brunei Art Forum (BAF) and Perupa (Visual Art Association of Malaysia), organised the art exhibition, ‘Darussalam – Titian Seni’ at Lela Menchanai Hall at the chancery of the High Commission of Brunei Darussalam in Putrajaya, Malaysia on Monday.

Malaysia’s Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Datuk Mohammadin Ketapi officiated.

High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Malaysia Dato Paduka Haji Alaihuddin bin Pehin Orang Kaya Digadong Seri Lela Dato Seri Utama Haji Awang Mohd Taha was also present.

In his welcoming address, the High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Malaysia expressed hope that the exhibition will further enhance the close relationship between Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia.

The month-long exhibition showcased 35 contemporary and traditional artwork depicting Brunei landscape, culture and way of life by 10 Brunei artists.
