The Law Society of Brunei Darussalam will conduct its 21st free Legal Advice Clinic tomorrow from 11am-1pm, at the Ground Floor of the Law and Subordinate Courts Building, Mile 1 in Jalan Tutong.
The Legal Advice Clinic aims to increase public awareness on legal matters by providing assistance in the form of free legal advice to members of the public who, in view of their limited earning capacity, would otherwise be unable to obtain such assistance.
The Law Society will also conduct the Legal Advice Clinic simultaneously at the Magistrate’s Court Building in Kuala Belait.
Advice at both clinics will be provided on a first-come-first-served basis. To obtain advice, members of the public must: not be represented by any law firm; present a copy of their current Brunei-issued Identity Card; provide proof of current residential address; and provide proof of income/allowance of less than BND1,500 per month.
