Malaysian actor Zul Ariffin, who is preparing to tie the knot next year, revealed that he wants to improve on himself before entering the next chapter of his life.
The 33-year-old said that he does not want to enter the next chapter of his life with bad habits as marriage requires one to be committed and responsible especially as the man of the house, according to BHarian. “I don’t want my spouse to feel betrayed if I still show my old habits.
“The same goes to my career in acting, I have to be selective as to be considerate of the feelings of my spouse,” he said.
“As a husband, there are a number of sacrifices that I have to make,” he added.
The actor is set to appear in the film Sangkar and is currently working hard to ensure financial stability.
“I’m not the kind of man who relies on my future wife’s money. If possible, I want to be able to provide for my family.
“Therefore I am making preparations now,” he said.
“As to who my future wife will be, I will make an announcement. There is no need to make any assumptions,” he added.
The Taiping-born actor also mentioned that he plans to hold the wedding in Malaysia and the reception in Bali, Indonesia.
“For the reception, I will leave it to the bride’s side.
“I also have a dream wedding ceremony, maybe I’ll choose Bali. The event doesn’t have to be grand,” he said.
