Talk focusses on Islamic diplomacy

Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) organised a special lecture on ‘The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and its potential, the history of Islamic Diplomacy and the history of research and knowledge’, at Ta’lim Hall of the university college yesterday.

The special lecture was delivered by Acting High Commissioner of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Brunei Darussalam Ahmed Ali Sirohey.

The acting high commissioner spoke about OIC development and its roles in unifying Islamic nations in tackling global issues.

He also discussed Islamic history and the power and influence of Islamic governments in strengthening diplomatic relations with the western nations.

Acting Deputy Ra’es of KUPU SB Dr Abang Haji Hadzmin bin Abang Haji Taha; Acting Assistant Ra’es of KUPU SB Datin Dr Noor Hira binti Haji Noor Kaseh; senior officials; lecturers; and students were present.
