Ten Korean students – here on a Bilateral Youth Exchange Programme between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Korea – yesterday attended a sharing session at the Student Centre of Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD).

The students spoke of Korean traditions and culture, and put on martial arts (taekwondo) and K-Pop demonstrations.

The group, led by Junhong Cho – an officer from the Ministry of Gender, Equality and Family of the Republic of Korea – will be in Brunei until August 28.

The exchange programme aims to foster friendship and understanding between youth from both countries in a harmonious and friendly environment, through healthy interactions and sharing of views as well as experiences.

Present at the event was the UBD Student Representative Council President and UBD Korean Club members.
