Students have fun with mock job interview

Mohamed Muadz

Kemuda Institute students had firsthand experience assuming different roles as an interviewer and interviewee during practical assignments in BTEC HND.

The students enjoyed themselves tremendously when they conducted a role play interview where the students acted out a scenario with their classmates to determine how suitable the candidate is for a particular job.

This skill enables the students to know how they may approach difficult situations that frequently occur in the Brunei job market.

The interviewee and their friends will also have to prepare for their role, which will often mirror something that could occur in the job they are applying for.

Some of the questions asked will often involve some sort of controversy or conflict or dissatisfaction on the interviewer’s part and require negotiating and reasoning as well as customer service skills from the interviewee.
