Spreading the word on financial planning

Members of the public enjoyed an array of fun-filled activities and gained insightful information on financial planning at the first-of-its-kind Baiduri Community Park roadshow currently running at the atrium concourse of The Mall, Gadong. The event will run until today.

Organised by Baiduri Bank in line with the its 25th anniversary celebration, the highlights of the event include the display of the two brand new BMW 520i luxury vehicles – the top two grand prize for the 25th Baiduri Bank anniversary promotion campaign that comes with the theme ‘Turn Your Dream into Reality With Us’.

The promotion runs from August 17 and ends on February 29, 2020, with members of the public who signed up for the bank’s home ownership loan, personal loan, credit card, life insurance, consolidation of loans and other products eligible to be entered into the grand draw. Other grand draw prizes include the 6D/5N Hokkaido Tour for two, 4D/3N Club Med Finolhu Villa Maldives for two, 4D/3N Sydney tour for two, 4D/3N Brisbane Tour for two; and a Private Banquet for 12 pax.

The bi-monthly winner, meanwhile, will be getting Royal Skies Miles and Travels vouchers.

During the roadshow, Baiduri Bank also showcased its products and services that have been specially designed to help improve one’s financial well-being, be it to achieve financial independence or build a nest egg for the future.

In support of local micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), the Baiduri Community Park also invited local MSMEs to participate in the event.

A range of activities specially selected to be enjoyed with friends and family like Nintendo Switch™ games and a music/rhythm game, a kid’s corner and quizzes where participants can win shopping vouchers, dining vouchers and movie tickets are also being featured at the event.

There is also a magic show being performed by Brunei’s very own celebrity magician Nadzri Harif. The magic shows will take place at 1pm and 4.15pm today.

Entrance to the Baiduri Community Park is free and is open to the public from 10am-9pm today. Visitors with a minimum card spend of BND25 at any participating outlet at The Mall during the roadshow are also entitled to an instant dip comprising dining vouchers and Baiduri merchandise.
