Singing competition ends on high note

One of the most awaited activities organised by the Chinese Department of the secondary section was the Chinese Singing Competition which was held on August 8. The competition was divided into two categories, solo and group/duo. The talented judges of the competition were Tan Cho Sian, Thien Koi Meng and Sandy Lee (once popular singer of 90s and early 00s belonged to Top Pop Entertainment SDN Berhad, Malaysia).

Eight students competed in the solo category and six groups competed in the group category.

All of the students gave out their best performance, making it difficult for the judges in this competition.

Solo category was won by Lee Chao Cherng in first place, Foo Wei Haur in Second place and Tong De Sin in third place. Meanwhile, in the group/duo category, first place was won by Elaine Tan and Nur Amalina, in second place were Tong De Sin, Chin Shin Ying and Tiong Jin Xuan, and in third place there were two duos, Shane Milana and Cindy Cheng, and Siew Kim and Liong Siat.
