The two scout leaders representing the PPNBD are Assistant Belait District Scout Commissioner for Training Mohammad Sharin bin Haji Suhaili and Assistant Temburong District Scout Commissioner for Administration Section Ronnie bin Siabu.

The course is expected to attract over 50 scout commissioners and scout leaders from Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Hong Kong, Maldives, the Philippines and Singapore with the aim to share latest updates on the function and responsibilities involved in scout training. The training will stress on the important components for scout training duties as well as the need and development of knowledge and experience as an assistant scout trainer.

The course acts as a platform to help disseminate global policy scout movement to participants and hopes to produce effective scout trainers.
