School community join hands for a greener Earth

In today’s world, the planet we live in lacks trees due to massive burning. Trees are also being cut down to make furniture and other everyday products. Trees are useful to us as they provide oxygen for us to breathe, the kindergarten section of Chung Ching Middle School celebrated Earth Day, recently.

As a way to show love to our planet, a tree planting activity was held on that day. This was a parent and child activity. There were surprisingly quite a number of parents who volunteered and brought saplings to plant with their child.

Parents and children planted their saplings at the back of the school under the hot sun. It was truly a beautiful and inspiring sight. It may have been a tiring activity but it wasn’t a waste because new saplings were planted and time was well spent between parents and their children.

All smiles at the tree planting event
