SPHERE Secure Services (S3) recruits learnt about evacuation procedures and how to use a fire extinguisher, during a briefing session conducted by the Operations ‘F’ branch of the Fire and Rescue Department (FRD) recently.

The briefing was aimed at promoting awareness on fire prevention, as well as aspects of fire safety. As a corporate entity, it is a must to carry out fire training and evacuation exercises at least twice a year.

The FRD reminded the public to take extra safety precautions during the current bout of unpredictable weather, in addition to making sure that the installation and connection of electrical wiring are carried out by skilled, certified or accredited persons approved by the Department of Electrical Services.

For fire-related emergencies, contact the FRD hotline at 995.
