THE Village Consultative Council of RPN Kampong Panchor Mengkubau (MPK RPN Panchor Mengkubau) for the 2016 – 2021 session has been dissolved following a special meeting at the Brunei-Muara District Office on Wednesday.
According to a statement from the MPK, the disbanding of the council was due to internal issues and confusion surrounding the coordination of the MPK.
Since its formation in 2016, the council has been actively organising various charity, religious and sports activities and projects.
“We hope the new committee and bureau of the MPK will continue our mission to develop the village that has been halted,” said the former secretary of MPK RPN Panchor Mengkubau, Bolhassan bin Haji Abu Bakar, who made the statement on behalf of committee and bureau members.
