One of Malaysia’s legendary artistes, M Nasir (pic above), or widely known as Sifu, plans to celebrate his 40th anniversary as an artiste with a large-scale solo concert.

He made this announcement during a press conference recently.

Dubbed ‘M Nasir Satu Hikayat 40 Tahun Perjalanan’, the 62-year-old singer-composer will perform songs from when he first debuted to his latest, according to Astro Awani.

He said that the extraordinary concert will be held to show his appreciation for all his fans for their support.

He will also perform songs he composed for Malaysia’s famous solo and group artistes.

“There will be a part of the concert where I will sing songs that I have composed for other singers, where some might not even realised that I have composed it,” he shared.

The Mentera Semerah Padi singer chose not to reveal the songs that he will be performing and admitted that he found it difficult to choose the list of songs.

“I find it difficult to select the songs that I will be performing and I have help in choosing them including suggestions from the event organiser, Shiraz Projects Sdn Bhd,” he said. The concert will be held at the Plenary Hall of Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) on November 23.
