The TIBA Petrol Station Cooperatives (KOTIBA) handed over BND1,500 to Normah binti Kalong, whose house in Kampong Sungai Besar was gutted by fire on August 15.

KOTIBA Chairman Rosdi Amin bin Dato Paduka Haji Yaakub presented the donation at its office in Kampong Salambigar.

The fire claimed the life of Kalong bin Haji Haur (Normah’s father) and one of the shareholders for the KOTIBA in Kampong Tanah Jambu. It was hoped the donation could ease the burden of Normah in facing challenges and difficulties after the fire along with her family.

Meanwhile, Syarikat Muraqabah Hartanah Haji Ahmad Haji Bakar also presented a donation to the fire victim. The donation was handed over by its Chairman Dato Seri Setia Haji Adam bin Haji Ahmad.

Normah shared to the Bulletin that they are staying at one of her children’s house in RPN Kampong Mengkubau, while waiting for house assistance from the Community Development Department to accommodate 15 of her family members.
