Crown Prince presents certificates to 475 graduates

His Royal Highness Prince (Dr) Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, and Pro-Chancellor of UBD consented to grace the afternoon session of the 31st Convocation Ceremony of UBD yesterday.

Upon arrival at the Chancellor Hall, His Royal Highness Prince (Dr) Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah was welcomed by Minister of Education Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sulaiman and UBD’s Vice-Chancellor Datin Dr Hajah Anita Binurul Zahrina binti Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Wijaya Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Aziz.

Prior to presenting the certificates, His Royal Highness Prince (Dr) Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah delivered a Sabda to mark the start of the convocation.

The afternoon session saw His Royal Highness Prince (Dr) Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah presenting certificates to 475 graduates comprising 199 Master’s Degree graduates; 61 graduates of Bachelor of Health Science, 22 graduates of Health Science Medicine, 23 graduates of Bachelors of Engineering and 173 Bachelors of Business.

Also receiving certificates in the afternoon session were 19 graduates in Diploma programmes. A Doa Selamat was read by Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Awang Salim bin Haji Besar. Prior to yesterday’s Convocation Ceremony, His Royal Highness Prince (Dr) Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah officiated the Pesta Konvo 2019 on August 15.
