Visits promote Neighbourhood Watch programme

THE Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) through its Neighbourhood Watch Focal Point unit is regularly visiting and engaging members of the Neighbourhood Watch from various villages in the country to promote the Neighbourhood Watch programme.

The visits aim to introduce the programme, foster closer ties and discuss the situations at villages as well as sharing problems and making plans in crime prevention activities.

Police personnel from focal point of the Bandar Seri Begawan (BSB) Central Police Station led by Corporal 4604 Hasnan bin Ali visited Acting Village Head of Kampong Serdang Pengiran Haji Hashim bin Pengiran Haji Daud.

During a discussion, topics on crimes were discussed and patrol activities were scheduled.

It is hoped that with the efforts by the RBPF and members of the Neighbourhood Watch will combat negative elements and produce a responsible community where they will together maintain the peace and security of the nation.
