Tawaf course for pilgrims

AROUND 40 officers and staff from various government agencies attended the last day of the four-day Islamic Strengthening Course on Fiqh Al-Hajj with a Tawaf practical session yesterday.

The course took place at the Darul Huda Building, Islamic Da’wah Centre.

The course organised by the Course Unit, Dakwah Dissemination Section of the Islamic Da’wah Centre was aimed at providing a proper understanding on the fifth pillar of Islam, Haj, so that the religious act can be performed well.

The facilitator of the four-day course was Haji Imaharan bin Haji Metali from the Dakwah Dissemination Section.

Throughout the four-day course, the participants were given in-depth knowledge on matters relating to Haj and Tawaf practical.

The Tawaf practical saw the participants having the opportunity to experience Tawaf (religious ritual of circling) around a replica of the Kaabah. The session was led by the facilitator.

Later in the afternoon, the participants received their certificates upon completing the course.
