Patrols keep crime at bay

TWO separate crime prevention patrols were carried out by officers from Kuala Belait Police Station and members of Neighbourhood Watch recently.

Kuala Belait Police Station led by Corporal 2721 Shamsudin bin Haji Naim and two personnel conducted a crime prevention patrol in Kampong Pandan ‘A’ with six members of the village’s neighborhood watch.

The patrol focussed on residential areas and commercial area of Kampong Pandan ‘A’.

Meanwhile, a similar patrol was conducted by officers from Sungai Liang Police Station with members of Neighbourhood Watch at surrounding areas of Kampong Lumut 1.

The patrol was led by Assistant Officer-in-Charge of Sungai Liang Police Station senior Inspector Haji Rabi’ul Shukreen bin Abdullah and Acting Village Head of Kampong Lumut 1 Haji Abdul Aziz bin Haji Ghani. The patrol began from Lumut Beach to foreign worker’s quarters at Kampong Sungai Bakong.

No suspicious activities were found.
