Open day highlights Centre for Capacity Building programmes

THE open day event organised by the Centre for Capacity Building (PPK), Ministry of Energy, Manpower and Industry (MEMI) began yesterday.

The two-day event is taking place at the Multipurpose Hall of PPK in RPN Lambak Kanan and will continue today from 9am-5pm.

The open day aimed to provide opportunities to the public, especially for applicants, to get a closer look at and inquire about the programmes on offer. The open day event also features live demonstrations for the programmes.

Nine training programmes are being offered for the upcoming intake, namely: Blaster Painter Operator; Heavy Vehicle Driver; Insulator; Marker Fitter; Rigger; Scaffolder; Fitter Mechanic; Welder; and Sales Assistant.

Visitors have the opportunity to interact with PPK trainees who have completed their training and are working with the local industry, and hear about their experiences during their training at PPK.

Those who are interested to participate are invited to visit the open day event and find out more about the training programmes offered.
