Malaysian held for attempting to enter Brunei illegally

OFFICERS of the Company ‘C’ Reserve Unit of the Royal Brunei Police Force detained a Malaysian man for attempting to enter the country illegally through a mouse trail at Kampong Junjongan, Limau Manis following an operation in the area.

The suspect, 19-year-old Mohammad Azlan Shah bin Pangis, attempted to enter Brunei through the mouse trail at Junjongan Satu using a motorcycle with the Malaysian registration number QL 7285.

Police also found items believed to be drugs inside the bag the suspect was carrying.

The suspect and the evidence were brought to the Limau Manis Police Station for further investigation.

The case was transferred to the Narcotics Control Bureau.
