A DOA Selamat ceremony was held for seven Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) personnel who will be performing Haj this year. The ceremony was held at the Surau of the RBPF headquarters, Gadong yesterday.
Commissioner of the RBPF Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali and his spouse Pengiran Datin Hajah Zauyah binti Pengiran Haji Sulaiman were present.
Seven intending Haj pilgrims received contributions handed over by the commissioner. It was followed by a mass Sunnat Hajat prayer led by Imam of the Police Surau APO Sergeant Major 6924 Pengiran Haji Ludin bin Pengiran Haji Metahir and concluded with the recitation of Tahlil and Doa Selamat.
Also present were Deputy Commissioner of Police Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Jefri bin Pengiran Haji Abdul Hamid and spouse; directors and deputy directors, officers and personnel of RBPF.
