Crime prevention patrols held to safeguard peace

IN KEEPING peace and prosperity of the community life through the concept of good and commendable neighbourhood practice, the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) continued with a number of crime prevention patrols in the Tutong District and Labi.

A total of 10 personnel from the Tutong Police Station led by Assistant Officer-in-Charge Probationary Inspector Abdul Hakim bin Haji Mohd Salleh carried out a neighbourhood watch patrol along with the Kampong Telisai Neighbourhood Watch members.

Present during the patrol was Village Head of Kampong Telisai Haji Maidin bin Haji Abdul Wahit along with nine members of the village’s Neighbourhood Watch.

Prior to the start of the on-foot patrol, a brief explanation on safety was delivered.

The patrol concentrated on the areas of STKRJ Kampong Telisai to the areas of Jalan Telamba, Keramut, Danau and Sungai Paku.

No suspicious or criminal activities were found during the patrol.

Meanwhile, the Labi Police Station carried out a crime prevention patrol with Kampong Merangking Neighbourhood Watch members led by Lance Corporal 4662 Muhd Izzat Izuddin bin Abdullah Leong along with Acting Village Head of Kampong Merangking Muhd Raimey bin Abdullah.

The patrol was carried out in the vicinity of government buildings, residential areas, as well as the DST tower in Kampong Merangking.

No suspicious or criminal activities were found in the areas patrolled.
