THE Centre for Strategic and Policy Studies (CSPS) concluded its workshop on Strategic Foresight and Planning recently.
The best overall contributor was awarded to Haji Khairul Amir Shahrin bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Suni, while Izzul Azam bin Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Roselan and Norshahrul Azim bin Haji Abdul Rahman were awarded the best performance in strategic foresight.
Meanwhile, Arif Asnawi Leong bin Md Dennis Leong and Julianah binti Ali Ahmad were awarded the best performers in strategic planning.
Members of the winning team for the deck card game – which challenged participants to come up with how they would adapt to many possible emerging issues against the Brunei Vision 2035 goal of having a high quality of life – were also honoured.
The workshop received positive comments. The facilitators were praised for being able to explain complex concepts in a simplified and understandable manner and for being fun and engaging while at the same time providing deep insights.
The event ended with the presentation of certificates.
The participants will return to CSPS in August 2019 with their formulated strategic plans for the second workshop entitled ‘Strategic Planning Practitioner Competency Certification’.
The second workshop will focus on the practical and more detailed aspects of strategic planning.
