THREE ‘Polis 190’ and seven compound fines were issued to drivers during roadblocks along Jalan Tengah Seria, Lorong 14, Panaga (near the Belait Police District Headquarters) and Jalan Tengah in Anduki, Seria on Thursday night. A ‘Polis 190’ is a letter requiring a driver to produce documents at the police station.
Officer-in-Charge of Panaga Police Station Inspector Mikhail Abdullah led 10 police officers in the operation.
The operation aimed to ensure drivers adhere to road traffic rules and to identify suspicious vehicles that may have been involved in criminal activities in the country.
The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) will continue to carry out similar operations in the future.
